DEM Production and 3D Viewing: Two Overlapping EROS-B Images

A Stereo image is comprised of two overlapping EROS-B Basic Images of the same scene, which are acquired during the same satellite pass. The images are acquired at symmetric off-nadir angles (before and after) , so that the absolute sum of the two off-nadir angles is 50°.

The technical specifications of each single image are identical to the specification of the Basic Image. However, the length of the images is limited in order to allow scanning of two overlapping images during the same pass.

The Stereo Image may be used for DEM Production and for 3D viewing when combined with designated software. Borealis Sat also can accommodate a ready made DEM product based on a Stereo Image per specific order of the customer.
